Un Merveilleux Voyage en Bourgogne -- A Bespoke Burgundy wine pairing experience with Dave Chan!
The Bourgogne evening will be held at D’s Wine Bar -- a modern, minimalist, elegant and chic space with a large jungle mural that stretches along the entire restaurant wall, decked with beautiful emerald-green velvet chairs that blend neatly into its leafy ambiance surroundings.
At this dining experience, there will be a specially-crafted Bourgogne Françhinois dégustation menu offering, where Burgundy wines are served in special Sydonios crystal wine glassware exclusively from D's Wine Bar collection. Wine bar Owner, Dave Chan himself, will be presenting the wine talk for the evening.
Dave Chan (WSET Level 3) developed his passion in wines in 2005 when he was still a Design and Project Engineer. A call from the head hunter in 2010 changed his career path. He started his role as a principal purchaser for Vinum Fine Wines for several years before moving onto Artisan Cellars. In 2015, he started his own wine importing, distribution and network in Singapore and Malaysia.
Dave is also the Co-Founder of Wine Journey, which focuses on select grower Champagnes, boutique Burgundies as well as artisanal wines all over the world. He hosts wine events (by WJ or customise for customers), appreciation sessions, and provides portfolio building and management, inlcuding sourcing for birth year wines or any back vintages of French, Italian, Spanish and more, for his passionate winelover customers. Today, D’s Wine Bar is Dave's first foray into an F&B outlet, a ‘hidden gem’ located in Damansara Kim.
