Connect PRKL presents:  A Bespoke 'Silvio Carta' Sardegna Gastronomic Affair with Alberto Mason, 3rd Generation & Export Manager of Silvio Carta. The evening's exclusively-curated Silvio Carta experience will take place at KL's latest Italian restaurant, Florentine, a stylish modern Italian steakhouse eatery.

This is truly a rare opportunity to enjoy a Sardinian degustazione menu that pays homage to Sardegna region cuisine and viniculture, where traditional dishes are specially prepared by Chef de Cuisine Daniele Ponzani paired with 5 grape varietals & 1 grappa from the Silvio Carta vineyards in the island of Sardinia!  

About Silvio Carta, the man and the brand :

It all began in the early 1950s, when a very young Silvio Carta decided to transform his love for the most traditional of the local wine productions in Baratili San Pietro with its Vernaccia di Oristano DOC, the main grape vine of the Sinis peninsula, into what became one of the most flourishing realities in the whole Sardegna area, forming the authentic glory of Sardinian oenology.

Silvio Carta, now 94 years old, founded the wine company with his name, believing right away in the nobility and generosity of this ancient vine. After more than 60 years, Silvio is still at the helm, together with his son Elio – the latter at the head since 1972 – who still devote themselves to their sacred yet complex, almost alchemical and provocative, Sardinian wine production. 

Today, both Silvio's grandsons, Alberto Mason and Nino Mason, are traveling around the world to continue their family legacy in Sardinian wine production and will be presenting the 'Wine Talk' at this very evening at the new Florentine restaurant. So, don't miss this exciting Sargedna Gastronomic Affair!
