Connect PRKL brings you "West Meets East" gastronomic experience in our next Wine Aficionados club - Season 43, featuring Château La Nerthe @ Ming Ren Xuan -- our latest collaboration with AsiaEuro, offering local's favourite MRX Chinese Cantonese cuisine paired with 4 amazing greats hailing from Châteauneuf-du-Pape!

On this evening, we will be serving an 8-Course degustiation menu, commencing with an elegant Palmer & Co. Brut Réserve Champagne before enjoying a delectable selection of 2 whites and 2 reds label from Château La Nerthe by Domaines Richard. The wine talk will be presented by Certified Sommelier and Commercial Director at Chateau La Nerthe, Christophe Bristiel, visiting all the way from Chateauneuf-du-Pape, Southern Rhone, France!

Christophe assumes this position since 2009, following the steps of his father Georges. This gave him the great benefit of growing up drinking Château La Nerthe! Beforehand, Christophe worked in Chile where he helped set up Kankura, a boutique winery located in the heart of the Colchagua Valley. He was involved in all key steps of viticulture, winemaking and distribution.

Whilst is South America, Christophe launched Jeroboam Vins Fins, a company distributing prestigious Burgundy wineries like Domaine des Lambrays in overseas markets. This love for the wines of Burgundy has never left him. Christophe majored in Finance and International Marketing, graduating from EdHEC Business School in France. Before joining the beautiful wine world, he navigated the intricacies of investment banking in Frankfurt, New York and London. Today, he lives in Vaison-la-Romaine, 40 minutes away from Château La Nerthe, with his wife and two children.
