Connect PRKL presents: "Un Délicieux Voyage de Fumée" -- A Delectable Journey of Smokiness, a French wine pairing gastronomic experience, with continental dishes exquisitely cooked and grilled with charcoal on the famous revolutionary Josper grill and oven, invented in 1969 by Pere Juli and Josep Armangué in Pineda de Mar, Barcelona, to achieve different flavours of char and smokiness in food!
Park Grill specialises in Josper grilling over charcoal and the restaurant is designed amidst a setting of luxurious style and glamour; an original concept by the Curate Group located at one of Kuala Lumpur's definitive dining destination, the Naza Platinum Park.

The Di Tullio family are of French and Malaysian decendants and they inherited from their ancestors the Château de Lafont, an ancient domain which dates back to the Middle Ages since 1806. Today, this elegant Gentilhommière is a boutique and modern winery flourishing with its domain's winemaking activity, producing very limited wine production and so exclusive (≤ 800 cases per year), that they are only sold in France and Malaysia -- both the family's current home residencies.
La Font – ‘Font’ meaning ‘Fountain’ in Old French – was already given to the domain in the XVth century. It was called this way because of its abundant natural water resources.
Château de Lafont is located in the Dordogne valley, and more precisely in the Montravel wine region. It is the most western part of the Bergerac appellation, close to the vineyards of Bordeaux. The hilltop above the Dordogne river with its chalky clay soil, groundwaters and direct sun exposure facing the south, gives Château de Lafont the perfect conditions to make its finest wines. Using thermo-regulated stainless steel vats for vinification, the winemaker age all of their wines in French oak barrels for 12 months, and then in bottles for around 4 more years in temperature-controlled ageing cellar.
Château de Lafont is a family-wine made from 10 consecutive hectares of Merlot and Cabernet Franc surrounding the domain on the plateau of Saint-Vivien, 20km east of Saint-Emilion and 40km west of Bergerac. It is a A.O.C Bergerac production, affordable and of great quality, made exclusively from the vines replanted in 1997, using the land in an optimum way to house, 70% of Merlot and 30% of Cabernet varieties surrounding their estate.
The wines by Château de Lafont are highly appreciated as they are:
- Natural, fresh and balanced. They believe in traditional wine-making to get the most natural expression of our terroir. Their wines are not overpowered nor bodybuilt, but refined and easy-drinking, which is perfect in warm Asian weather.
- Velvety, elegant and supple. With well extracted fruity, roasted and spicy flavors. These characteristics make it easy to pair with both asian and western food.
- Healthy and Organic. They respect both the environment and our health.
- Always enjoyable ! Wines are aged in their bottles for 5 years before selling, to guarantee their enjoyability even though they become even better with a few extra years of ageing. As winemakers themselves, if they are not satisfied by a vintage, they simply don’t sell it. Like in 2006.
